Race 1: F1 Austin 2026 United States Grand Prix ( Oct 23 to Oct 25)

Austin F1 Grand Prix is a great start, as US fans can travel to Austin without a passport. Circuit of Americas (COTA) sits about 15 miles southwest of downtown. It is also one of the biggest parties on the F1 calendar to enjoy the madness of the grand prix. Expect highs around 27°C with cool evenings, and we suggest you carry a hat and a light jacket.

How to Get to Track:

You can skip the car. The best part is that the official 2026 F1 shuttles depart from Waterloo Park Downtown and the Travis County Expo Center, which also offers free parking. These shuttles drop you on COTA Boulevard, which is close to the Grand Plaza gate. And if you are planning to take an Uber, then it will drop you off at the McAngus lot. From there, a free tram will take you to the main entrance.

What else do you get with F1 tickets:

Austin F1 2026 Grand Prix tickets also get you to concerts. Maroon 5 is going to play on Friday, Post Malone on Saturday, and Alesso on Sunday after the chequered flag. What a package for an F1 fan, and you can share all the fun easily with your friends through Maya Mobile eSIM.

Where to Stay:

Downtown and South Congress are the best places to stay in Austin during the race weekend, as they will get you to concerts and shuttles easily.

A local Tip:

On Saturday, October 24, the free Viva la Vida Festival and Parade fills downtown with Day of the Dead art, music, and dancers from noon to 6 pm.

Travel Requirements:

UK Travelers need an approved ESTA before flying to the US, and Canadians only need a passport.

Race 2: Mexico City Grand Prix (Oct 30 to Nov 1)

If you only get to one race this year, then make it Mexico City, as you get the loudest crowds in F1, the highest track on the calendar. The whole city is celebrating Dia de Muertos (the Day of the Dead) on the same weekend. The race weekend runs from October 30 to November 1st. We suggest you stay till November 2 to witness the Day of the Dead celebrations. Most fans fly into the Benito Juárez International Airport (MEX), which sits only 5 km from the circuit. Some budget airlines will land at Felipe Angeles airport (NLU) instead, which is 45 km north of the city. So, check when you book your flight tickets to Mexico City.

The best moment to witness during the Mexico City Grand Prix weekend is the Foro Sol, where cars race through an old baseball stadium packed with fans. If you are concerned about how to share this moment with your friends at home, install the Maya Mobile eSIM, which offers unlimited data and more benefits. Expect daytime weather with highs of 22°C, but nights drop to 8°C. The circuits in Mexico City are at an altitude of 2,285 m, the highest on the calendar, so we suggest you carry plenty of water.

How To Get To Track:

The Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez is just about 5 miles from downtown. There is no public parking available, so take the metro. Line 9 (brown line) stops at 3 stations along the circuit: Velodroma, Ciudad Deportiva, and Puebla. Each stop serves as a different seating area, so check before booking your 2026 Mexico City F1 tickets. Once you are inside, a free shuttle is available that loops the circuit to your gate.

Where To Stay:

Roma and Condesa are walkable areas with rooftop bars and cafes. Polanco is an upscale pick, and Rosa keeps you close to the Reforma celebrations. So you can choose according to your budget.

Race 3: Sao Paulo Grand Prix (November 6 to 8)

Sao Paulo Grand Prix F1 2026

Ask any F1 fan for their favorite race of the year, and many will say Interlagos. This is the track where Ayrton Senna won at home in 1991 while stuck in 6th gear. Lewis Hamilton won his first title here in 2008 on the very last corner. And in 2024, Max Verstappen charged from 17th on the grid to win in the pouring rain.

This year, Gabriel Bortoleto, now racing for Audi, is Brazil’s first full-time F1 driver since Felipe Massa retired in 2017. Expect yellow and green flags on every grandstand, and a roar every time he passes the pit straight.

Most fans fly into Guarulhos International Airport (GRU), about 25 km northeast of the city center. Leave extra time for the drive in, because São Paulo traffic is famous for a reason. Coming straight from the Mexico City race? Aeroméxico and LATAM fly nonstop in about 9 hours and 35 minutes. Early November is warm, at around 26°C, but rain is common. Pack a poncho. A wet Interlagos often gives the best races.

At the track, Maya connects through Claro, one of Brazil’s biggest networks, on 4G LTE. With truly unlimited data, you can follow live timing and the rain radar all weekend, and post from the grandstand without watching a data meter.

How To Get To Track:

Interlagos is about 25 km south of the center. Take Line 9 (Esmeralda) to Autódromo station, then walk from there. In 2025, an express train also ran from Pinheiros station to the circuit in under 30 minutes, so check whether it returns this year. Do not drive, as rideshare drop-offs are near Gates A, T, and HV.

What else do you get with F1 2026 tickets:

For the first time, Interlagos gets an official F1 Fanzone. It sits at the Kartódromo Ayrton Senna next to the track, with driver meet-and-greets, simulators, and live music. It needs its own ticket, so check before you get one.

Where to stay:

Pinheiros and Vila Madalena are full of bars and good food, and Pinheiros is on the train line. Itaim Bibi and Vila Olímpia suit fans who want rooftops and late nights.

Travel Requirements:

US and Canadian citizens need a visa for Brazil again, and it can be obtained online through the official e-visa portal. Apply at least a few weeks in advance and print a copy, as airlines may refuse boarding without it. UK visitors do not need a visa for stays of up to 90 days.

Race 4:  F1 2026 Las Vegas Grand Prix (Nov 19 to 21)

Las Vegas Grand Prix F1

No other race feels like Las Vegas. F1 first came here in 1981, on a track laid out in the Caesars Palace car park. Today, the cars race down the real Las Vegas Strip, past the casino lights, and hit well over 320 km/h (200 mph) on the long straight. It is also where George Russell won in 2024 while Max Verstappen sealed his fourth world title on the same night.

For fans, the magic is the setting. You can watch practice, walk to a show at the Sphere, and be back for qualifying, all in one evening. Nowhere else on the calendar puts a Grand Prix this close to so much to do.

Las Vegas is the easiest race of the final six to reach from North America. Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) is only about 5 km from the Strip. Coming from São Paulo? There is no nonstop, and the quickest route is via Copa Airlines through Panama City, at about 15.5 hours. The race runs at night, straight down the Strip, past Caesars Palace, the Bellagio, and the Venetian.

How To Get to Track:

Walk if you can, because roads close in stages every evening. The Las Vegas Monorail continues to run during the race because it is elevated above the street. The closest stops are Harrah’s/LINQ, Flamingo/Caesars, and Horseshoe/Paris. Uber and Lyft pickups sit at Virgin Hotels and the Hughes Center.

What Else To Do in Las Vegas?

The T-Mobile Stage by the Sphere hosts Two Friends and Ja Rule on Thursday, Disclosure on Friday, and Sean Paul on Saturday. After the race, the Backstreet Boys play an afterparty inside the Sphere.

Where to stay:

Center Strip hotels like Caesars, Paris, and the Bellagio sit inside the circuit, close to the Monorail. The Venetian, Wynn, and Resorts World are near the Sphere. Downtown and Fremont Street are cheaper and 10 to 15 minutes away. Budget for 15 to 20% extra in taxes and resort fees.

The Finale: The Last Two Races of the F1 2026 season

The season ends in the Gulf with two night races, one week apart. Both are still subject to F1’s final decision in mid-October, so read the note at the top of this guide before you book.

Getting there from Vegas takes effort. There is no nonstop flight from Las Vegas to Doha, and the fastest one-stop routes take about 19 hours. You can also connect in Los Angeles, where Qatar Airways flies nonstop to Doha four times a week. Qatar Airways has cut back some US flights this year, so confirm your route with the airline.
